Winter Weather Wednesday AND A Bit About January

This car was a little buried at work eh?

January was cold and snowy but it's over now and we're one month closer to spring! (even if it doesn't feel that way after last nights blizzard!) So here is how January shaped up, and I think it went pretty well for a start to the year

  1. Solid start of the year buddy! Great job! I've heard good things about the Cascadia's... but don't you already have yak trax's? Or did you want trail shoes for trail running? And Toy Story fruit snacks? Really?!?!? LOL! Awesome!

  2. It's a combination of reasons. I do have the yak trax and they're a huge help when the snow or ice is deeper than an inch or so but I don't like them on pavement and a lot of times my runs will be at least half on pavement. I'm also nearing time for a new pair of shoes anyway so I figured a pair of tail shoes for the remainder of winter is the best bet, but I'm still lookin into em.

  3. OMG, I LOVE Panera bagels! However, I can only get them in the 'burbs, not the city :( Great motivation for a post-winter run workout though!
